Greek Mountain Tea, wild-grown.
High on the sunlit Greek mountains, wild mountain tea (Tsai tou Vounou) grows among rocky slopes and clean alpine air. Hand-harvested in summer and gently dried whole, stem, leaf and flower. A smooth, golden cup with a delicate floral aroma and subtle notes of wild herbs, honey and citrus.
What you taste, slowly.
I, Aroma
"Wild flowers, warm hay."
As the water is poured a delicate floral steam rises, dried mountain blossom, warm hay and a faint breath of citrus from the high alpine meadows.
II, Cup
"Golden, light, soothing."
The infusion settles to a clear golden yellow. Smooth and naturally sweet, with gentle herbal notes and a softness that needs no sugar to be complete.
III, Finish
"Clean, calm, lingering."
A quiet, clean finish that lingers like the mountain air it came from, caffeine free and naturally calming, made for slow evenings.
Quietly, carefully made.

VerifiedMy evening ritual
Delicate, floral and so soothing before bed. One pot lasts the whole evening and you can smell the mountains in it. Already ordered a second bag as a gift.

VerifiedBeautiful with a spoon of honey
Light and clean, lovely hot or iced. We stir in a little of the thyme honey and it is perfect. Caffeine free, so the children drink it too. Nothing from the supermarket compares.

VerifiedThe real thing
Whole dried stems and flowers, not dust in a bag. The aroma is wonderful. Delivery to Amsterdam took four working days, just as promised. Will order again for the festive season.
